The Federation is saddened to learn of the passing of another very long standing member of the Isle of Man Beekeepers’ family. Norrie Mills was somewhat of a legend for his ability to create stunning artwork in beeswax, winning many, many awards at the annual Honey Show and even opening his home with wife, Esther for a demonstration of all things wax in 2015. He was also a skilled skep maker and happy to share his knowledge with others.
Norrie is pictured here with the late Jimmy Fisher at the celebration of 75 years since the creation of the Southern Beekeepers Association. Our condolences and best wishes go to Esther and her and Norrie’s family.
