The 75th annual IOM Beekeepers’ Federation Honey Show and Convention was held today, Saturday 2nd November. President Alistair Lothian piped in guest judge Carys Wyn Edwards who had judged the exhibits the night before.

The show was well supported with over 150 entries and with a packed hall on the Saturday to see the awarding of the prizes and to hear Carys talk about her experiences as a bee keeper with over 150 hives spread over North Wales and Anglesey/Ynys Mon. She also demonstrated her Apimaye hive – an American plastic Langstroth hive which she has started using.

Well done everyone who entered the show and thanks to all who supported it.
