Lorna Tyrer of the Malew Street Pet Shop in Castletown has had a charitable collection in aid of Bees this year.
She presented Cilla with £90 to be spent at the Teaching Apiary.
Once we get the new Shed up we will need shelving to hold all the minutia of frame and hive making. We think that this money will make a huge contribution to this.
The Isle of Man Beekeepers Federation would like to give very grateful thanks to Lorna and her family for their kindness, and the people of Castletown who donated the money.
